As a career counselor, I use a variety of assessments depending on the needs of each individual, but The Highlands Ability Battery is the cornerstone of the process. Using the results of the battery, together we first explore and then narrow down career, or school, or course of study possibilities, focus on a goal and design a path to reach that goal. Always, career is considered within the context of a personīs whole life.

I am skilled in assessing needs and aiding the decision making process. My style is informal and I provide encouragement, empathy, support and motivation during the process of discovery and planning. Iīve been there!

Everyone has strengths, but many donīt recognize them. The Highlands Ability Battery provides valuable insight into each individualīs strengths, and most importantly, how to best use them in work and life.

People find that The Highlands Ability Battery provides a new way to understand themselves in relation to the type of work that would be most rewarding to them.

In addition to a private practice, I am a career counselor at a Westchester, NY liberal arts college, working with undergraduates and with graduate students who are in the process of changing careers.
